Summary
Three men in a shack tell stories of lost loves.
Analysis
- There does not seem to be any Egyptian god called Ansenef. The closest name is Arensnuphis, a minor lion-headed Nubian deity. This may tie in to the cat-like leaper.
- The lord of the castle taking advice from the ghost of his father is a reference to Hamlet.
- The setting seems to be a Mars terraforming mission. A rift and a connected valley have been filled with an Earth-like atmosphere and a colony has been established there. More changes are expected: "Do you think they'll ever really make it rain?"

Unresolved Questions
- Was it A or was it B, or was it X or Z?
